Our   policies   and   aims   are   developed   to   improve   our   customers   experience   and   meet   realistic,   achievable   targets.   We   review   our   targets   regularly   to   ensure   our   safety,   environmental   and   quality   objectives   are in line with current targets, legislation and aims. Viridian Systems Environmental Policy Viridian Systems Limited is committed to leading the industry in minimising the impact of its activities on the environment. The key points of its strategy to achieve this are: Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible. Minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its power requirement. Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers. Source and promote a product range to minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution. Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to the Company.
Viridian Systems Health and Safety Policy The Company recognises that the Health, Safety and Welfare at work of employees, whether on The Company’s premises or carrying out Company business elsewhere, is primarily the responsibility of The Company.  This responsibility extends to other persons while they are on the Company’s premises. As Managing Director, I recognise the duties and obligations imposed on me, both under the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974 and in this policy, to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the Health and Safety of: (1)    All persons employed by The Company whilst they are at work. (2) Persons other than Company employees who may be exposed to risks arising out of, or in connection with, the activities of employees of The Company whilst they are at work. To effectively achieve this, The Company will provide, so far as is reasonably practicable: (a)  Safe premises, plant and systems of work. (b)  Safe methods of using, handling, storing and transporting of articles and substances. (c)  Information, Instruction, Training and Supervision. (d)  A safe working environment. (e) Safe access to, and egress from, a place of work and procedures for evacuation in an emergency. The Company will provide, so far as is reasonably practicable, safe working practices and systems to effectively cover all aspects of Health, Safety and Welfare. The final level of responsibility for implementing The Company’s policy is that of the individual employee. All employees are expected to co-operate fully in the measure The Company will be taking in implementing this Act, in order to ensure that their work situation, and those of their colleagues, are as safe and as healthy as possible.
